Fashion Style: well defined

Fashion is a way of expressing one’s personality through the selection of clothes, accessories and jewelry. People like to be fashionable because it enhances their lifestyle.

Clothing has been a way of expressing the ideas, emotions, and thoughts of society since time immemorial. In earlier times, the styles of clothing reflected the social status and occupation of people in a particular group. For example, judges wore robes, people in the military were expected to wear uniforms, and brides wore long white dresses.

Today, fashion is a multi-billion dollar industry that employs millions of people around the world and influences our daily lives in countless ways. From the ad hoardings on the street to the tv shows that inspire us, it is an omnipresent aspect of our lives.

The word “fashion” is derived from the Latin “factio,” which means to make. It subsequently evolved into Old French as three variants, “façon,” “faceon,” and “facioun.”

Fashion changes over time. In the past, exotic goods were popular and influenced how people dressed. Now, fashions vary widely based on geographic locations, social classes, and genders.

A person’s adherence to a certain style can indicate their social status or even help them find love. For example, men who keep up with the latest trend will likely attract potential partners.
